Training successfully completed

Eleven apprentices have successfully completed their apprenticeship at Clausthal University of Technology. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was once again not possible to hold the usual ceremony to present the certificates.

Instead, the HR department and staff council bid farewell to the trainees with a small gift and personal words: "The training period is a particularly important time in life. Your training was characterized by restrictions such as homeschooling, social distancing and hygiene regulations. You can be all the more proud of yourself for having successfully completed this special time of training and learning."

In the letter, the apprentices are sent on their way with a quote from Anton Bruckner: "If you want to build high towers, you have to spend a long time laying the foundations." The foundations have been laid with the apprenticeship, now it's time to build the towers. "We wish you every success and the necessary bit of luck. Always remain curious and open to everything new. Don't be afraid to make mistakes."

Max Bendix and Christian Köthe successfully completed their training as electronics technicians for devices and systems. Marcel Steckhan and Ronny Wenske successfully completed their training as chemical laboratory technicians. Christopher Klein, Nick Näther, Tim Rebentisch, Nico Schulte-Übermühlen, Abdullah Sharifi and Tim Werner successfully completed their apprenticeships as precision mechanics. The performance of Abdullah Sharifi, who came to Germany from Syria as a refugee in 2017, deserves special mention. Nick Näther was able to shorten his apprenticeship due to his good performance. Fabian Schulze can now call himself a qualified materials tester.

With around 100 apprenticeships, the Harz University is one of the largest training companies in the region. Clausthal University of Technology is currently looking for trainees for the training year in the fields of precision mechanics, electronics technicians and materials testers.
