Start of training at the TU Clausthal
Nine trainees start their apprenticeships in August. The specialists of tomorrow will be trained in five professions at the university.
Two chemical laboratory technicians, two IT specialists for system integration, two precision mechanics, one electronics technician for devices and systems and one administrative assistant - nine young people are starting their careers at Clausthal University of Technology.
Marie Kröher from the Human Resources Department, Carmen Kiefer from the Staff Council and Thomas Major from the Youth and Trainee Representative Council welcomed the group to the main TU building for the start of their training on August 1. After the official commitment and a brief overview of the university, they went on a campus tour through the Feldgraben area. At the Clausthal Environmental Technology Research Center (Cutec), Felix Müller and Ms. Kiefer presented the research in the various departments and guided the group through the laboratories. Afterwards, the trainees had the opportunity to get to know each other better over a barbecue.
While the apprenticeship period begins for some, 14 young people successfully completed their apprenticeships in the first half of the year. In January, Lennart Gehrke (electronics technician for industrial engineering), Maximilian Paul Linke and Thore Meyer (both chemical laboratory technicians) as well as Megan Pinnecke, Tim Kronjäger, Tim-Jonas Siedentopf and Philip Straumann (all precision mechanics) completed their training.
In June and July, Christian Arndt (IT specialist in system integration), Bastian Kordt and Adrian-David Schneider (both IT specialists in application development), Milan Henze (electronics technician for devices and systems), Dimitrichka Birkowski (materials tester), Felix Schwarz (precision mechanic) and Vinzenz Friedel Zehn (industrial mechanic) successfully passed their final exams.
TU Clausthal offers apprenticeships in twelve professions. Further information and the job advertisements for the next training year 2024 are published on the university's homepage at: https: //www.ausbildung.tu-clausthal.de/
